For long, weaving and Gobelin tapestry seemed to me somewhat unattainable and therefore unrealistic dream. But once upon a time, a newspaper advertisement at an old weaving loom sale occasionally caught my eye… Now I have several looms in my ‘depot’, of different size and functional possibilities.

The loom, despite of all its visible simplicity, conceals almost limitless possibilities for the embodiment of one’s creative fantasy. Actually, you can do whatever you want, starting with traditional “grandma’s rag rugs”, in which it is so touching to recognize the patches of your old blouse, and finishing with the functional pieces of contemporary textile design.
